As a guide, we have put together some measurements that are a good place to start if you’re not sure which sizes to go for (although we don’t believe in hard and fast rules when it comes to pairing different lamps and lampshades). And if you have any questions, please get in touch.
Extra Small
Fitting information: These are the perfect size for wall lights, chandeliers or a very petite lamp. Our standard extra small shades have a gimbal fitting and removable reducer ring, so they’re compatible with all lamps made in the UK and EU.
Alternative fittings: Some wall lights require a candle clip or pendant fitting, which can be selected on most designs. Please get in touch if the fitting you require is not listed.
Small
Lamp ideas: Perfect for smaller bedside tables and nooks, these lampshades look great with lamps which are around 20cm-40cm tall.
Fitting information: These shades have a removable reducer ring, so they’re compatible with all UK and EU lamps.
Medium
Lamp ideas: We tend to pair these lampshades with table lamps that range from approximately 30cm to 50cm tall. They work equally well teamed with skinny floor lamps or can be suspended from the ceiling (in which case, select the pendant fitting).

Medium Cone
Lamp ideas: We pair these lampshades with slightly larger lamps, around 40cm-50cm tall.

Large Cone
Lamp ideas: Our biggest and most versatile cone lampshade, this size can be used for medium to large lamps. It also looks great on floor lamps and suspended over a table.
